Growing up in Chéticamp, I never thought I’d see this level of skill, talent and attention to detail in our cozy little town. Bistro Fiset (and Table Doucet) are making their mark on Chéticamp. I couldn’t dream up a more gorgeous setting. The view from the Bistro and the beach below has been my favourite view since my earliest childhood memories. We had such a great experience at the newly opened Bistro Fiset! The food was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We shared the potato starter, and it was the perfect way to begin the meal— so flavorful and beautifully prepared. For our mains, we had the halibut and the short rib, and both were out of this world delicious. The halibut was fresh and cooked perfectly. What an incredible dining experience we just had at Bistro Fiset. The service was friendly and professional. The cocktail and wine list are well curated. The everything we ordered was excellent. The short-rib and halibut mains were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the salad and potato as well. Finished off with a delightfully tart rhubarb pie to end the meal. It’s a true 5 star dining experience with views to match.

The grand opening at Bistro Fiset on Chéticamp Island was incredible. My best friend and I had the best seat in the house, gazing out at the sea while seals swam about just offshore, and the sun was setting on the Highlands.
